Baked Parmesan Pork Chops are tender and delicious with a crispy outside crust. These are a family favorite at dinner time!
I’ve tried pork chops a bunch of different ways. I love them fried and smothered (oh yes!), but when I’m leaning on a more healthy version it’s these Baked Parmesan Pork Chops I always come back to. I’ve been making these pork chops as long as I’ve been making our favorite Ranch Chicken. They’re both very similar and totally delicious!
What I love most about this recipe, is that it’s incredibly simple with incredible flavor. When I cut these up into bite-sized pieces, my kids gobble these up. It’s a family-dinner win for everyone! 🙂
Baked Parmesan Pork Chops
Seasoned Pork Chops baked to perfection. Your whole family will love these!
Ingredients
- 4 to 6 boneless pork chops (1/2 to 1-inch thick)
- 1/2 cup butter melted
- 2 cups Italian seasoned Panko bread crumbs
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375° degrees F. Spray a 9×13 glass baking dish with cooking spray.
- Combine the Panko bread crumbs and Parmesan cheese into a large freezer baggie.
- Shake bag well to mix all together.
- Dip each pork chop into the melted butter, and then drop into the baggie. Seal the bag shut and then shake well to coat with bread crumb/cheese mixture. After well coated lay pork chops into the baking dish. Repeat with all pork chops.
- Once all pork chops have been coated, sprinkle the remaining seasoning mixture over the tops of each.
- Bake for 30 minutes, uncovered, or until cooked through. Serve immediately.
What kind of pork chops did you use?
I always use boneless pork loin chops, usually around 1/2 inch thick. 🙂
I will try other recipes u have but had to say how amazing the baked sweet and sour chicken was and so easy … Thanks
I just made the pork chops tonight…. So delicious!
Yay Ann! Glad you enjoyed them 🙂
Have you tried it with the plain panko crumbs? I already have some of those in the house. Just wondered if I could just add some seasoning. Thanks. Looks delicious.
Kathy, you can definitely use plain panko bread crumbs. The pork chops will be missing the flavor from the Italian-seasoned crumbs, so adding some seasoning would be ideal 🙂
I was just at the store last night buying more ingredients for that fabulous Ranch Chicken of yours! Definitely going to give the pork chops a try!
Just made this tonight (though subbed chicken for the pork chops because that’s what I had on hand, and added some Wildtree Rancher Steak Rub into the panko and Parmesan mixture, since my panko crumbs were plain) – FABULOUS! Two thumbs up all around the table! This recipe is definitely going into our regular rotation, and now I can’t wait to try the Ranch Chicken, too…
I have made these and they are delicious, but just wondered what you thought about how I could turn it into a freezer meal?!
I have bone in pork chops what changes to cooking time and temperature do I need to make?
