Hey sweet friends! I am so sorry I didn’t post a new recipe on Friday. It ended up being a super busy day, so I thought I’d get Menu Plan Monday up today and get that new recipe posted on Tuesday. It’s a good one so be sure to stop back by!
Kale and I decided a couple weeks ago that we would start doing family home evenings on Monday nights. A special night reserved just for our family to have a nice dinner, share some stories and play a game or two. Our first one was last week and it was fun! Kelsey and Emma were in charge of the whole thing. They made Red and White Pasta for dinner, Kelsey read us a story she wrote, and we played the whisper game. It was nice to have no distractions, cell phones-off, and enjoy each other’s company. In today’s world full of technology and chaos I really think it’s important to do this with our kids. 🙂
Tomorrow night is Kallen’s turn to host it- with Momma’s help, of course. We’ll be having breakfast for dinner with my delicious French Toast Bake, turkey bacon and scrambled egg whites. Then we will play a round of Monopoly! I love that the kids are looking forward to it.
