Good morning, friends! For those of you that celebrate- I hope you had a great Easter. 🙂 Ours was pretty much perfect. I got up early to start making my favorite CARROT CAKE! (Grab that recipe if you’re a carrot cake lover!) And then put my MAPLE BROWN SUGAR HAM in the crock pot. The kiddos actually slept in until about 8:30 am. so it was so nice having a quiet morning in the kitchen to get all the Easter lunch prepped.
The rest of our Easter was pretty laid back. My little sister Lindsey and her family came over for lunch. Then we had an egg hunt for the kids in my back yard. It really turned out to be a fun day. I love Easter.
This week’s MENU PLAN MONDAY #189 has some pretty delicious ideas on it, just so you know. 😉 The CHEESY RANCH CHICKEN PASTA is always a hit with my kids, and the GRILLED ITALIAN CHICKEN never disappoints. Well, today is my hubby’s birthday and he took the day off (yay!) so we are going to go have some fun. I hope you all have a great week and I’ll be back on Wednesday with a brand new recipe!
