I can hardly believe 2016 is coming to a close. It has been such an amazing year and one I’ll never forget. My Grandma Rose’s passing in January, and my gall bladder surgery were probably the hardest parts, but there were so many fun times that made up for the bad!

Kale and I finally traveled this year! We went to Maui with some of our closest friends and had the time of our lives! Then we went to Seattle in August to see my favorite band ever- Guns n’ Roses. (We also saw their concert back in April in Las Vegas.) Those two shows were the best concerts I’ve ever been to and I have been to a lot! 🙂 Finally, taking our kids to Disneyland was the best trip! I’m so glad we were able to take our family on a fun vacation and spend some much needed quality time with each other. 🙂

So now, let’s get to the food! 2016 was the most successful year for my blog! I can’t thank you all enough for your love and support with my little corner of the web. Just you coming here to check out the recipes means the world to my family and I.

  1. Thank you for making this list; I love seeing what other people’s favorite recipes are! It prompts me into trying new recipes that I might not otherwise consider. I might have missed it or maybe you are already planning it, but I would love to read a post that listed your (or your family’s) personal favorites. Given that you have tried every single recipe, it gives a different perspective.
