O…M…GEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!
I can’t begin to thank you enough for this crust recipe! My sons have borrowed some of my recipes over the years & they’ve not been found again. I couldn’t recall the exact measurements to get that sugar cookie, Chewy crunch crust that I’m known for. The closest i came was finding a krustez box of cobbler crust that is discontinued. Thank you for bringing this recipe back into my life!!!! I can’t thank you enough. I got my cobbler reputation back.

Hi Nazia,. if u cut the sugar it will be more like pie crust. the fat ratio is more than pie crust, but I saw a cobbler with that ratio and it looked delicious. try only 1/4 cup sugar.

This is without a doubt the best topping for a peach cobbler. I prepare my peaches with a little more sugar and corn starch. I also sprinkle the peach filling with freshly ground nutmeg before I put the dough mixture on.

So, I dove in with my spoon right away and it seemed runny. The ten minute wait is written in the directions for a good reason! The rest Gave the batter time to finish baking and RESULTed in the best peach cobbler I've made. The kiss of nutmeg was all it needed. Cinammon can sometimes be too overpowering with peaches. I'm glad I refrained from adding it.
Thank you so much for sharing this delicious recipe!

This recipe is heaven! I used nectarines, Only modifications were increasing the vanilla a bit, throwing some toasted pine nuts I had on hand into the cobbler topping, and Sprinkling a scant 1/4 c of Grand Marnier (orange liquer) Over the nectarines before adding the topping. It was AWESOME! Warm with ice cream, cool or cold for breakfast. Next time I might Add a bit of cinnamon…

I followed all instructions but to help spread the batter I put big spoonfuls over the peaches and then put it in the oven for 2 minutes. It softened it up and it spread with ease by taking a scraper and then smoothing it out. Delicious recipe!
