Welcome back to the last Menu Plan Monday of 2025! To me, there’s something so special about starting a new year. It’s a fresh slate full of possibilities and that is such a good feeling. For this year’s last menu, I am sharing some wonderful appetizer ideas for your new year celebration! Whether you’re hosting a party or keeping it low-key, I’ve rounded up my favorite appetizers to end the year right.

No New Year’s Eve party is complete without a savory appetizer dip. My Crock Pot Queso Blanco Dip is made with smooth white cheese and zesty green chilies, slow-cooked to perfection. Serve it with tortilla chips, and you’re all set!

My Sweet and Sour Meatballs are another classic party and potluck recipe. The ingredients may seem strange, but the outcome is so delicious! Serve them as a standalone party appetizer with toothpicks for easy snacking. They’ll be gone in a flash!

This no-bake dessert deserves a place on your New Year’s Eve party menu: Brownie Batter Dip. If you are looking for a quick dessert recipe, this dip only takes 15 minutes and perfectly captures the flavor of classic brownie batter. If you’re someone who can’t resist sneaking bites of brownie batter straight from the bowl (who isn’t, right?), you’ll love this!

This time of year always seems to fly by, so my goal with Menu Plan Monday is to help you get through the hustle and bustle of the holiday season. This week, we have a variety of hearty meals from warm pasta bakes to pizza casseroles and a festive treat.

My Three Cheese Chicken Alfredo Bake is the ultimate comfort food for chilly winter nights. Juicy, tender chunks of chicken are tossed with tender pasta and a rich Alfredo sauce, layered with a dreamy trio of Ricotta, Parmesan, and Mozzarella cheeses. The leftovers are just as delicious, too!

This Slow Cooker Lasagna Soup contains all the satisfying flavors of lasagna: rich beef, tomato, herbs, and ooey-gooey cheese, melded together in a comforting soup that’s easy to prepare. You just brown the beef with onion and garlic, dump everything into the slow cooker, and let it simmer while you wrap gifts or sip on cocoa. Later, the broken lasagna noodles go in (or you can cook them separately and stir them in at serving time).

If you haven’t tried my famous Hot Cocoa Cookies, this is your sign. They taste like your favorite mug of hot chocolate in cookie form! And just like that, we are at the end of 2023! This year has been one of the most painful years of my life, but also one of the most beautiful. I am honestly so proud of the growth I have from these last 12 crazy months. I am also very grateful. I’m so grateful to have spent another year with my family, my true friends, and all of you. This week for Menu Plan Monday I am here to start the new year out right, and close out the current year properly. I have a great balance of healthy meals and indulgent meals.

When we ring in the New Year at home, you can guarantee there is a party! I love to host this time of year. That means I need to have recipes that are going to satisfy both kids and adults. My Chicken Alfredo Pizza does just that. As soon as this comes out of the oven it practically disappears slice by slice. It’s amazing!

I’ll be making my Crock Pot Stuffed Peppers for Sunday dinner. These peppers are packed with protein and surprisingly healthy. They are also delicious!

I love to include at least one sweet treat each week. Since we are about to bid adieu to autumn and winter desserts, I thought I would include one last holiday recipe: My Sugar Cookie Truffles. These are amazing. Kids and adults love these!

I am overjoyed to wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas! I hope you all have had a holiday season that’s been filled with cheer, gratitude, and quality time spent with the ones you love. This week for Menu Plan Monday I am going to include plenty of recipes that are sure to make this holiday the most special one yet.

One of my favorite traditions is our Christmas Dinner. It always includes my Slow Cooker Honey Glazed Ham with all the fixings! Not only is it so simple to make, but it is the perfect meal for the evening. Whether I have extended family over, or if it’s just the Lofthouse gang, this meal is always the best.

After a long feast, I love to bring things back down to the everyday routine. My Double Decker Tacos are a protein-packed meal that helps us recover from all those rich meals and desserts.

The holiday season is all about the spirit of giving, and I look forward to making my family and friends my See’s Fudge Recipe. It’s just like the one from the store, but only better because it is made straight from the heart of your own kitchen.

I think cooking and enjoying a homemade meal is one of the most rewarding things. Some days are harder than others, but when I can cook a meal for my family, I feel so good. I also know my family does too! This week, for Menu Plan Monday, I am going to include a little bit of everything for you. Lunch, breakfast, and dinner favorites!

Who says you can’t have tacos for breakfast? We love Mexican food so much here in the Lofthouse that we even start the day with it. My Bacon and Queso Breakfast Tacos might be one of the best ways to begin your morning. Fluffy scrambled eggs with Queso and crispy bacon, all wrapped up in a tortilla, is a bit of magic.

Next, make sure to try my Honey Garlic Steak Bites. They are a great option for lunch or dinner! You can add them to salads, wraps, or eat them with a few sides for a complete meal.

For dessert, I am making my incredible Copycat Cinnabon Cinnamon Rolls. This is a copycat recipe from the famous chain, but I believe this homemade version is much better. My kids absolutely love these rolls, and Kale does too. I think I’m going to make an extra batch for Christmas morning!

When the holiday season rolls around it can be like an eating marathon! We indulge in all these incredible meals and desserts that are hearty and calorie laden. But sometimes I like to switch things up. This week for Menu Plan Monday I am sharing a few recipes that will make sure that you have lighter meals in between all the turkey, ham, and Christmas cookies.

One tradition we have here in the Lofthouse is Taco Tuesday. This is for a few reasons, one of them being that they’re a family favorite. Another is that tacos are a fairly calorie-conscious meal. My Oven-Baked Honey Lime Chicken Tacos are a fun way to switch up taco night.

Another lighter recipe on the menu is my Garlic Herb Shrimp. Add these flavor-packed shrimps to salads, wraps, or serve as a tasty protein-packed appetizer.

You know what’s coming next: dessert! This recipe is one of my personal favorites because it takes me right back to elementary school. My Lunch Lady Brownies are one of the most sought-after recipes on my blog. A sheet of delicious brownies topped with a chocolate frosting. They are my favorite brownie recipe, and more times than not, I eat mine with a fat scoop of vanilla ice cream.

Not only is it the most wonderful time of the year, but it is also the coziest time of the year. Here in Southern Utah, we don’t get a lot of snow. Every now and again, we do get a little powder on our beautiful red rocks, but it mostly lives in our hearts and imagination. This week for Menu Plan Monday, I am going to make sure you and your family can enjoy cozy meals perfect for the winter. Whether the snow is falling or not!

It is 100% soup season, and I have made quite a few already, and there is plenty more to make. This week, give my Chicken Gnocchi Soup a try. Not only is it creamy, rich, and delicious, but it will stick to your ribs!

Another favorite on this week’s menu is my Cream Cheese Beef Enchiladas. They take a traditional enchilada to an indulgent level with the addition of cream cheese. Each bite is sensational!

You know we must enjoy a sweet treat at the end of the week. One of my favorite things to make this time of year is my Oatmeal Cream Pies. These two chewy cookies are irresistible with that sweet cream filling. They are truly delicious bliss!

Let me be one of the first to say, Merry Christmas! I hope this day is magical for everyone. No matter who you are with, and how you are celebrating, I wish you a truly happy holiday! My Menu Plan Monday is full of Christmas time classics that will warm your heart. 

What is more quintessentially Christmas than a holiday ham? I honestly can’t think of one, and so that is the reason that my Slow Cooker Honey Glazed Ham made the top of the nice list this year! Set this beautiful piece of pork to start cooking while you open presents.

Hello and happy holidays, friends. Here in the Lofthouse, we have had Christmas movies on repeat, music blasting in the background, and friends and family coming in and out of the house. It truly is a Holly Jolly Christmas! Such festivities call for some of my favorite recipes on this week’s Menu Plan Monday. Get ready to deck the halls with this week’s menu!

First, it’s time to fill the home with the comforting aroma of my Perfect Pot Roast. A holiday staple at my house, this is a perfect dinner to make when loved ones are over. This dinner naturally brings everyone to the table for good times and good conversations. I know we are always in for a treat when this roast goes into the slow cooker.

Next, my Slow Cooker Scalloped Potatoes and Ham Alfredo can either be a great meal or a side dish for your festive meals.
