In reply to Marylyn. I have never tried freezing this, but I think it could work. Seal tightly in a freezer safe container for up to a month. Thaw in the fridge (this is how I would do it if I were to try freezing it.)

I made this dessert and substituted the instant pudding with Lemon Curd! Delicious and it made it less sweet.

Very refreshing and delicious. Made it twice in one week! First time used two 3.5oz. jello pudding packets and 3.25c cream of coconut. Needed to use it up. Second time tried w/one 3.5oz jello pudding mixed with one 21oz can of lemon pie filling and 1.25c of 1/2 and 1/2. Both disappeared quickly!

Just made this for the 1st time and everyone raved how its the best lemon dessert they have had in a long time! I used the lemon Oreos as some of the comments suggested! I also made this the night before and it was still DELICIOUS! Thanks for sharing!

i now make this every year for the 4th of july. we have a cookout every year, and I’ve made this 3 years in a row. every year I make 2 9×13 pans and by the end of the weekend, it’s gone. Definitely will continue to make it

Sooooooo, good & easy! I made it for a baby shower, & it was gone before the shower was over. People were taking it home. 🙂 I followed the suggestion of using Lemon oreos and added a 1/4 tsp of lemon extract to the crust. Really tasty, thank you for sharing this recipe.
