This week we have a wonderful holiday in our midst. Flag Day is one in which we honor our beautiful American Flag. Old Glory, the Stars and Stripes, the Star-Spangled Banner. Whatever you want to call her, she is beautiful. There’s no better way to honor her legacy as the symbol for our incredible free nation than bringing a Menu Plan Monday full of recipes that are uniquely American.

We Americans are known for being meat lovers. Most major holidays usually revolve around eating a tender and juicy piece of meat. Since there isn’t an ‘official’ Flag Day protein, let me be the one to offer one, Stuffing Topped Pork Chops. This succulent dish is irresistible and packed with flavor. In celebration of our Red, White & Blue I wanted to serve up something that resembles our nation’s colors. My Strawberry Jell-O Poke Cake is a sweet salute to our beautiful flag.
