How is August already here? I feel like the summer just began! With the new school year quickly approaching it’s time to get a set of recipes ready to go. This week for Menu Plan Monday I have some awesome meals planned for you. As always, they are delicious, filling, and can be such a lifesaver throughout the week, especially on the days you don’t have a ton of time.
Ready for a big breakfast? My Biscuits and Gravy Casserole are the most filling ways to start the first day of school. Fluffy biscuits swimming in a thick layer of gravy that is served by the spoonful. They are so delicious!
For dinner, go ahead and get the crock pot ready for my Slow Cooker Chicken Pot Pie. This is such a heartwarming meal filled with flavor and nostalgia. Great for a filling Sunday meal and to serve throughout the week over rice or a baked potato.
Did you get your girl scout cookies this year? I hope so because once you try my Thin Mint Chocolate Poke Cake you’re going to want to go back and get more! Thin Mints are one of my go-to grabs every time I see girl scout cookies for sale, and I make sure to stock up! This poke cake is such a special treat. You’ll have plenty to have a slice for now, and enough to save one for later. Summer may be ending, but the delicious recipes are just getting started.
