I am a self proclaimed carb-o-holic. I ♥ bread! I don’t know how many times I’ve told myself I’m going to go on a ‘low carb diet’, and then find myself craving carbs even more! I am definitely someone that wants what I can’t have! Ha This bread is delish! Perfect with a big bowl of spaghetti, like we had tonight. Yum!

Ingredients

  • 2 cans 7.5 oz each refrigerated Homestyle Biscuits (I used Butter Lovin!)
  • 3 tablespoons Butter melted
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried Parsley
  • 1 teaspoon dried Minced Onion
  • 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan Cheese
  • 1/3 cup shredded Mozzarella Cheese

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. In a small bowl mix together the melted butter, garlic powder, dried parsley, minced onion and Parmesan cheese. Spread mixture in the bottom of a 9 inch glass pie plate. Sprinkle the shredded Mozzarella cheese evenly over the top of the butter mixture.
  • Remove biscuits from cans. Place biscuits close together over the top of the cheese and butter mixture. (You might not need all the biscuits. I had a few left over that wouldn't fit)
  • Bake biscuits in the oven for 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown. Remove and let stand for 3 minutes. Turn biscuits upside down onto a serving plate. Serve warm!

  1. I have the same problem! Everytime I tell myself that I’m going to go on a diet I find myself wanting everything in site! These rolls look so good Holly!

  2. I am the same way with carbs. I try and try and can never stay away from them long! This sounds amazingly good…and easy. I will be trying this out very soon 🙂

  3. So delicious looking! I am a carb-o-holic myself 🙂 I always attempt to cut back, but I always fail. I’d rather work out every day than deprive myself of the yumminess carbs bring!

  4. Oh i know the feeling. I seriously need someone to invent an all carb diet to lose weight. I would totally win! These look great and carby! Thanks : )

  5. Holy cow! These look amazing! I can just imagine what they would taste like! LOVE me some carbs too!

  6. These were good. Firt batch I brushed a little butter onto the tops to help them brown. My second batch I added more of the garlic & cheese mixture onto the top of the biscuits and they were really good. My family loved them – both batches. Thanks Holly!

  7. I saw the revised version of your recipe at Pickles and Cheese and thought I’d check out the original. They look delicious and so easy! I’m going to make them very soon!

I’m a new blogger. Please stop by and say hello.

  8. my 9 year old make it tonight. i had problems getting the center done. but we just didn’t eat the center biscuit. DELICIOUS!!!!!

  9. I made these tonight with spaghetti and my whole family loved them! Super easy and super tasty. I only had one can of biscuits, so I used a small pie plate and they turned out wonderfully. 🙂 I did end up substituting the spices for 1 1/2 teaspoons of Pampered Chef’s Garlic Bread seasoning instead, but I loved pulling the rolls apart with the cheese just goo-ing! Yuuuuummmy! To make a slightly healthier version, I used low fat biscuits, reduced fat cheeses and I can’t believe it’s not butter. Thanks for such a great recipe…will definitely be making this again! Thanks! Andrea

  10. Just saw this on Pinterest and can’t wait to try it. I love sister schubert rolls. Do you think they would work well in place of the biscuits?

  11. This is my new favorite recipe! Don’t forget to spray your pans though! If it’s written here, I missed it. We use a 9×9 pan and just one can of biscuits since there are just 3 of us that eat it (the baby will love them someday!). We use the cheap can from Wal-Mart and they turn out fantastic! Thank you for this yummy recipe!!

  12. I had to try this recipe.. and it was FABULOUS! I found it on a friends pinterest page — awesome. I gave my grandma the recipe and she loved it too.. One thing. I accidentally used Grands biscuits.. dear goodness. It comes with 8 and I fit 7 in the pan and then slices the last one into pieces and shoved them in. It still tasted fabulous though. 🙂

  13. oh. and I didn’t spray the pan. with the butter, the rolls just kinda slid out. I made sure the butter mixture was on the edge of the pan. excellent!
