I need to double the recipe for the church event. Can i put the doubled amount in a 4 quart slow cooker and get the same resuLt? If i have done my math right, it will fit with room on top. Anyone tried it?

Sarah – did you double the recipe or use a 3-4 quart slowcooker as directed? I only have a 5 quart and I’m not so sure I’d like to double the recipe as it’s too much pudding!

I made this for Thanksgiving dessert this year and it was amazing! i don’t typically keep bisquick in the house so I googled a replacement and used 1/2 c flour, 1/4 tsp salt and 1 1/2 tsp baking powder. Came out perfectly! I will be making this again, and honestly I think i’ll make it for myself to have for breakfast! loved it. thank you for the recipe!
