Hi There Barbara. I think the idea behind the crockpot is that your heating up frozen meatballs. This could be done on the stove but would take a long, long time and you risk burning the sauce since it has quite a bit of sugar in it. If you were to make it on the stove I would suggest allowing the meatballs to thaw overnight in the fridge first.]]></description>
