Hi Holly, i made these for My husband this morning and they turned out great. He loves danishes, and when I saw THem on your site, I thought I would give them a try.
The only exception I had to make was to put them in the fridge before rolling because the filling was running out. Thanks for another great recipe!

In reply to Bec. There are recipes online to make your own crescent roll dough. I'd do that before using Pillsbury, I haven't looked at their ingredients, but I'd bet there are more than they need as well as a fairly high sodium content. Don't know about transfats either.

Hi, the recipie seems simple enough, but I just have one question. When you say “uncoil each,” do you mean each triangle after you have already rolled up the entire sheet? Or am I missing something? Please help…..

I just made these quick this morning for my husband, it’s our 9th anniversary today, he absolutely loved them! The only thing I changed, is I used strawberry pie filling instead of jam!

I just got these out of the oven and mine do not look like yours! Did you spread the rectangles out a bit so they were a little stretched out? I did not do that and I think I should have! I think they will still taste good, though. 🙂 I have filled crescents before and I should have known to do it. Thanks for all the awesome recipes. I am a HUGE fan of cheese danishes!
