Ingredients

  • 12 King's Hawaiian rolls (or any good quality dinner rolls)
  • 8 slices Genoa salami
  • 6 slices deli turkey
  • 12 slices deli pepperoni
  • 8 slices provolone cheese

Garlic Butter Topping

  • 5 Tablespoons salted butter melted
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 Tablespoon chopped parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes optional

Grinder Topping

  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 Tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • 1/3 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 3 cups finely shredded iceberg lettuce
  • 1/2 cup banana peppers chopped (plus 2 Tablespoons of the juice)
  • 1/4 cup thinly sliced red onion

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F. Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally, keeping the rolls connected if possible. Place the bottom half of the rolls into a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • Layer the salami, turkey, provolone cheese, and pepperoni evenly over the rolls. Place the top half of the rolls back on.

For the Garlic Butter Topping

  • In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, garlic powder, parsley, and red pepper flakes, if using. Stir until well combined, then generously brush the garlic butter over the tops of the rolls.
  • Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the sliders are heated through.

For the Grinder Topping

  • While the sliders are baking, prepare the grinder topping. In a large bowl, combine the mayonnaise, red wine vinegar, Italian seasoning, banana pepper juice, and Parmesan cheese. Whisk until smooth. Taste and adjust the seasoning, if desired.
  • Add the shredded iceberg lettuce, chopped banana peppers, and sliced red onion to the dressing. Toss until the vegetables are evenly coated.
  • Remove the sliders from the oven and carefully lift off the top buns. Spoon the grinder topping evenly over the meat and melted cheese. Replace the top buns, slice into individual sliders, and serve immediately. Enjoy!
