Apple Crisp Pizza

I love this Apple Crisp Pizza dessert! Apples, cinnamon, and sugary oats over a flaky pie crust. Mmmmm. We enjoy this treat every fall season because it’s so good.
I’ve been making this for years and it’s always a crowd pleaser. As it bakes, the aroma of cinnamon and apples fills my house. It makes me feel all warm and cozy inside. 🙂 This yummy dessert HAS to be served with vanilla ice cream. It’s a must!

Ingredients
- 1 pastry for single-crust pie (9 inches)
- 2/3 cup granulated sugar
- 3 Tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 4 medium red delicious apples peeled and diced into 1/4 inch pieces
Oat Topping
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/3 cup packed light brown sugar
- 1/3 cup rolled oats
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup salted butter softened
- 1/2 cup caramel topping
Instructions
- Roll pastry to fit a 12-inch pizza pan; fold under the edges. Combine the granulated sugar, flour, and cinnamon in a medium bowl. Add diced apples and toss in the mixture. Arrange the apple mixture in a single layer over the pie crust to completely cover it.
Oat Topping
- Combine the first 5 topping ingredients in a bowl and then sprinkle evenly over the apples.
- Bake at 350 degrees F. for 35 to 40 minutes or until apples are tender. Remove from oven and immediately drizzle with caramel topping. Allow to stand 10 minutes to slightly cool.
- Cut into pizza slices and serve warm with vanilla ice cream. Enjoy!
