Christmas Punch is thee festive drink of the season! This delicious drink is perfect to serve at holiday parties for kids and adults.

Christmas Punch is filled with cranberry, orange and lemon-lime flavors.

It’s time to put on your ugly Christmas sweaters and turn up ALL the classic Christmas songs! Holiday parties are such a highlight at my house. I love hosting a good party no matter what time of year it is, but Christmas time just hits different. I’ll have small gatherings and large family socials. With so many parties happening there is always a need for a good drink everyone can enjoy. That’s where this Christmas Punch comes in handy!

This punch is so delicious and always a hit. It’s also ridiculously easy to prepare. It holds a few of my favorite fruits in it that creates the most yummy flavor. Don’t wait for Christmas to serve this. It can also be served any time of the year for any celebration! Ladle a cup full and greet your guests with this bright and tasty beverage.

CAN I PREPARE THE PUNCH AHEAD OF THE PARTY?

When I am preparing for a party, I mix the orange juice and cranberry juice ahead of time. I like to let the juices sit together to infuse their flavors. Keep this magical holiday mixture chilled in the fridge. Wait to add the sprite or 7-Up soda, as well as the ice, right before your first guests walk through the front door. This way this tasty punch will be freshly chilled with a nice effervescence that is crisp. If you add the sodas and ice too soon it will leave the punch flat and watered down.

WHAT DO I GARNISH THE DRINK WITH?

This part of the punch recipe is my favorite! I love slicing fresh oranges and placing them on top of the punch mixture. I also add in cranberries for color and rosemary for a piney note. If you have a little extra prep time, try adding in clove buds into your orange slices. This will bring an herbaceous layer to your Christmas Punch.

IS CHRISTMAS PUNCH FOR KIDS OR ADULTS?

This drink can be both kid-friendly, and for your adult friends who enjoy a little booze with their punch. If you would like to add alcohol to your drink, I recommend 1 and a half ounces of liquor to 12 ounces of punch. This will ensure your beverage won’t be too strong. Try adding cranberry or orange flavored vodka to stay with the holiday palate. Rum and whiskey are great spirit options as well.
