Frozen Pink Lemonade Pie

We’re in the middle of Summer and I’m HOT! Last Sunday our temps rose up to 108° and I thought I was going to melt away.. Ugh. I decided it was time to whip up a cool treat for dessert and this Frozen Pink Lemonade Pie was just what we needed!

This frozen treat is cool, refreshing and a cinch to make. It is so creamy and delicious! It only requires 4 ingredients, but just takes some time to freeze, so plan a day in advance. 🙂

  1. G’day , 🙂 we don’t have cool whip in Australia , what do you suggest as a subsitute? Many thanks

    1. Make homemade whipped cream. 2 cups heavy whipping cream, 4 tablespoons confectioners sugar, optional: a splash of pure vanilla for bright white whip. Whip for about 5 minutes and Voila.

  2. Awe, this brought back a good memory of my Mom!! She made this using limeade sometimes. I forget how good these pies are. Don’t know why I don’t think to make them. Pinning to remind me!!

  3. I make a very similar dessert. I make a graham cracker crust and press into a 9×13 dish. Then I mix 1 can of frozen lemonade with a rectangular carton of vanilla ice cream (1qt I think.) pour that into the graham cracker crust and freeze. So delicious!!

    1. Cool whip is a container of whip creamed with a few extra ingredients. If you can’t get cool whip just use 8 ounces fresh whipped cream. Frozen lemonade concentrate is just concentrated lemonade that is usually packed in cans in the freezer section of your grocery store. 🙂

  4. My grandma, who died last year, used to love to make this pie. It always reminds me of her, but I never knew the full recipe. Thank you so much!

  5. Why do you suggest freezing for so long? If I only have 3-4 hours will this still work for me? It sounds amazing!

  6. What the chance that you have nutrition information on this pie? My sister-in-law gave me a similar recipe that uses a large cool whip and makes 3 pies. She used Sunkist Orange concentrate and it tastes like a Dreamsickle!! It was GREAT!!

  7. 4 stars
Love This pie. takes me back about 50+ years when I worked full-time & we had luncheons all the TIME. someone would *always* bring ONE (or two) of THESE & they would *always* be gone. no seconds here!!
