Fudge Ripple Ice Cream

Looking for the ultimate ice cream dessert that everyone will fully enjoy? This recipe is exactly what you’re looking for! Who doesn’t love the combination of vanilla ice cream and fudge? Chocolate and vanilla go together hand in hand with one another. My Fudge Ripple Ice Cream recipe is out of this world! It might be one of the easiest recipes that I have curated. Anyone can make this homemade ice cream because you don’t need a mixer! All you need is a freezer and a little bit of time to enjoy this sweet treat.

FUDGE RIPPLE ICE CREAM

Remember hearing the ice cream truck outside? The excitement of grabbing your dollar and running to the truck to get your favorite treat was thrilling. And still it is thrilling when you get to do that with your kids today! I have a few go-to favorites that I enjoy, but at least every other time I would get fudge ripple. This recipe pays homage to the classic vanilla ice cream base swirling with chocolate fudge throughout. Usually served in a sugar cone. That’s what great summertime memories are made of!

INGREDIENTS

I wasn’t joking when I said this is one of the easiest recipes. All you need is the following 3 ingredients, and this creamy, cold dessert is at your fingertips!

  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 jar (12 ounces) hot fudge topping

HOW TO MAKE FUDGE RIPPLE ICE CREAM

In a medium sized mixing bowl whip the heavy whipping cream until it has stiff peaks. Next, fold in your sweetened condensed milk until fully combined. Cover and place in the freezer for 2 hours. After that takeout your mixture and then place 6 large dollops of hot fudge on top of the ice cream mixture. Take a knife and create ribbons by running the fudge through the ice cream with the knife. Cover again and freeze for at least 6 hours or overnight. Once fully frozen, serve and enjoy!

CELEBRATE WITH THIS INCREDIBLE ICE CREAM

This ice cream recipe is perfect for kids’ birthday parties! When my kids were a little younger, I used to make it all the time for their parties. Vanilla ice cream with rich fudge woven throughout is enjoyable for a kid of any age. This is also great for any summertime activity that you have planned. Whether it is a warm day at the park or low key in your own backyard this ice cream goes well with any occasion.

WHAT SHOULD I SERVE WITH FUDGE RIPPLE ICE CREAM?

Are you a cone or a bowl person? Whichever you prefer, this ice cream is great either way. Personally, I am a cone person. I think that Fudge Ripple Ice Cream is served best as a large scoop on top of a sugar cone. That just screams summertime treat to me! Any vessel that I can also eat is one that I can get behind. I also recommend creating an ice cream bar if you want to serve this in a bowl. Cut up fresh fruit and get out a little extra chocolate sauce, caramel sauce and set up an ice cream buffet that kids and adults alike will go crazy for!
