Servings: 12
Ingredients
- 1 package (15.35 ounces) Double-Stuffed Oreo cookies
- 1/2 cup butter melted
- 2 boxes (3.9 ounces, each) instant chocolate pudding mix
- 3 ¼ cups cold milk
- 2 containers (8 ounces, each) Cool Whip, thawed
- 1 block (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
Instructions
- Take a large zip-lock bag and place all the Oreo cookies inside. Seal bag shut and place on counter. Using a rolling pin, crush the cookies until they are small chunks/crumbs. You want them to still be chunky and small, but not fine crumbs.
- Set aside 1/3 of the cookie crumbs for the topping. Pour remaining cookie crumbs into a 9×13 baking pan. Pour the melted butter over the crumbs and mix well to combine. Once combined, press into the pan to form a crust.
- In a bowl, whisk together the 2 pudding mixes and milk. Cover and place in fridge to set.
- In a medium bowl, blend cream cheese until smooth. Slowly add in the powdered sugar. Fold in one container of Cool Whip. Spread mixture over the cookie crust.
- Next, take chocolate pudding and spread evenly over the cream cheese mixture. Spread the other container of Cool Whip all over the chocolate pudding layer. Sprinkle the top with the remaining cookie crumbs. Cover and chill in fridge at least 2 hours before serving. Enjoy!

I have been craving this for a while. Now I gotta go make it after seeing your photos. Yum!
wow! I thought I was gonna mess something up but I didn’t it looks amazing I found the recipe 6 days ago then I just made it today on Valentine’s day my family hasnt tasted it yet but I hope they luv it !!!!
I’ve made this dessert twice and it is truly delicious! I just wanted to point out that the best way to mix the cream cheese with powder sugar is to place a metal dish with hot water under the bowl. You don’t have to use a blender just keep mixing it with a spoon until it gets soft and smooth. Again…add the cool whip and keep mixing it. You’ll see how smooth it gets.
i JUST CHOP THE CREAM cheese into chunks, microwave on low and beat with fork until smooth. then fold in cool whip and spread onto cookie crust.
Oh my! This looks incredible! Perfect recovery food! 🙂
I’m making it this week-end, that’s for sure !! Thx.
This is on my list to make 🙂 Looks amazing!
My teenage grandson loves anything oreo, so i made this for his bir cake a few days ago and it Didn’t last very long! We all loved it!! Definitely saved the recipe. Thank you!!
Oh Girl…you really sucked me in with this awesome treat. What’s not to love huh? You share the bestest recipes – thanks. Pinning for now to make when I can share….GREAT ‘get well medicine’. =)
Ooh, my husband LOVES Oreos. I think I’ll make this for him.
Oh, this does sound heavenly…and dangerous! 🙂
Holy heaven that sounds wonderful! I’m so sorry about all the hospital ick. YUCK.
The last layer o whip is straight from the container right?
EVERYONE JUST LOVES IT AND IDO TOO. THANK YOU SO MUCH.
GOD BLESS!!!!
Yes
Heidi- Yes, the top layer is just the second container of Cool Whip 🙂
Just made this and it truly is heavenly. So glad I found this recipe. My family enjoyed it . Infact my girls licked their bowls clean. :-). Thanks for sharing this recipe.
So good! Might not be the fanciest of desserts, but it’s definitely a crowd pleaser!
I made this for Father’s Day per my husband’s request and it really is very tasty and everyone enjoyed it. I made it as written except I only used half of the powdered sugar called for in the cream cheese layer as a full cup seemed like a lot to me considering all the other sweet layers. Turned out just fine with the 1/2 cup of sugar 🙂
Thanks for sharing the recipe!
Sounds yummy! You cold fancy it up when you serve it, by using a pretty dish and maybe an extra cookie standing up to the side or a few chocolate curls or even a drizzle of caramel sauce on the serving plate.
That looks just like something a good family friend always made in the Summer; great memories! I am totally going to have to try this soon! Thanks Holly! 🙂
Your recipe says a 9×13 dish but the dish in the photos is smaller. Just wondering if that’s a mistake? Looks delicious btw!
Trish, When I made it I used two 8×8’s. But yes, you typically would use a 9×13 for this recipe 🙂 Hope you enjoy it!
I make this but use Oreo pudding instead of chocolate and just regular Oreos and call it Oreo Cloud
we can add some other thing in the place of chocolate pudding? here it is hardly find.
You could probably use vanilla oreo’s and pudding and do a vanilla version.Or pistachio and chocolate.
Love those ideas!
I just made this using nutter butter PEANUT BUTTER SANDWICH COOKIES WITH A DASH OF CINNAMON AND USED VANILLA PUDDING WITH SWEETENED CONDENSED MILK AND REGULAR MILK. O M G ‘
Omg….the sweetened condensed milk! You’re a genius!!!!
Thank you! Sweetened condensed milk upped the ante
Kim, When making it with the peanut butter cookies, how much milk and how much sweetened condense milk did you use?
A good friend of mine makes this its very rich but it is so good I can eat a lot of it when she makes it can I say so yummy
Could you make it with vanilla pudding instead of chocolate
Yes, definitely!
This was delicious, but I went by pictures and made this in an 8×8 pan, which wasn’t big enough! After looking back at the directions I saw the 9×13 direction. You might want to put in a disclaimer!!! 😉
Brittney, for some reason I thought I had mentioned that on there, but I had not. So I just fixed that. Thanks for the heads up! And glad you enjoyed it 🙂
Nice one! I need to serve this to 20 people. How many people did this size serve to?
Neel, Two 9×13 pans should feed 20!
Can I use regular sugar instead of powdered sugar?
Granulated sugar would probably make it grainy. I would stick with powdered!
You you can make powdered sugar from reg sugar.I believe that I used a food processor.
I made it yesterday night with granulated sugar and it actually turned out great! Amazing recipe 😀
That’s great!! Good to know it can work 🙂
it says you can make it a couple of hours before – can you make it the day before and it still be as delicious? I want to make it for the kids for a rehearsal supper
Pat, yes you can make it the day before. I made it and it lasted a week.
I found this via Pinterest and will be making one batch for a friends birthday & another for Mother’s Day weekend. Thanks for sharing!
Making this today for Father’s Day tomorrow! Thanks for the recipe, looking forward to eating it.
