Kelsey turns 13 this Sunday (heaven help me 😉 ) so she wanted to celebrate with some shopping and eating fun down in Vegas this weekend. My friend Christa and her daughter came along with us. Sophie had a dance competition there as well so it was perfect timing for us all to go down and have some girls time! We ate at a few of our favorite places- Brio and Cheesecake Factory and did a little shopping at one of the malls. It was a lot of fun.
It’s hard to believe Kelsey is turning 13. I have raised her since she was 2 years old. Time has really flown by. I will be honest, it has not been an easy ride. Anyone that has raised a child that’s not biologically yours would agree. There have been many challenges a long the way BUT also so many rewards as well. Kelsey has taught me a lot about my own self on this journey and I would only hope I’ve taught her a few things too. I love her with all my heart and am proud to call her my daughter. If you ever read my blog Kels- I hope you’re reading this now. I love you to the moon and back and hope you have the BEST birthday ever. Love, Mom 🙂
