This is the 50th post of Menu Plan Monday! Only two weeks away from having one whole year worth of weekly menus! Menu planning for me is so dang important. I know I’ve said it before, but I’ll say it again, it saves me SO much time and money when I plan our dinners. I can’t believe I used to go to the store without a list or a plan. The amount of money I used to waste is embarrassing. When you’re prepared and plan ahead you really have no excuses to not make/eat home cooked meals. The amount of money we spend at a fast food restaurant for my family of 5, I could literally spend on 3 home-cooked meals. When you start to look at it that way, it’s crazy to eat out all the time.
Okay, enough of the serious talk and let’s chat about this weeks menu. I haven’t made BBQ Beef sandwiches in forever, so I’m looking forward to those. My Mom is known for those yummy sandwiches. She used to make them for family get-togethers all the time. They’re so good! Also, I’ve been craving some Creamy Broccoli Casserole so I put that on the menu.
