Apple Crumble Bars have a sweet, creamy apple filling layered between a crumbly oat topping and crust. Drizzle the tops with caramel for one amazing treat!

Apple Bars

I thought it was time for me to post a delicious apple treat! These Apple Crumble Bars are just that and then some. They have a sweet, creamy apple filling layered between a crumbly oat topping and crust. It is a must, in my opinion, to drizzle the tops with caramel sauce. 🙂

Apple crisp has always been one of my favorite treats to make during the fall season, and these bars are remind me of it. I guess it basically is apple crisp just in bar form.

One of the many great things about this recipe is that is only has 4 ingredients! (I love recipes like that) and one of those ingredients is a box cake mix. The cake mix gives it a distinct flavor that is absolutely yummy and had us all going back for seconds.

Apple Bars

I served our Apple Crumble Bars warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on the side. I don’t know what it is about apple treats, but I typically can’t have one without vanilla ice cream. It is a match made in heaven!

This looks amazing;, and would like to try it this weekend. But, I would like to know what kind of oats you used, Thanks! 🙂

  2. I’ve made this twice now and shortly after it comes out of the oven, it develops little orange spots on it. And this morning there is more. Does this happen when you make it? I’m just wondering what it is. I didn’t refrigerate it, it’s just on the counter at home?

      1. Ok! Just making sure it wasn’t some weird mold or something. Which I don’t know how it could be from sitting one day. Thank you!
