Garlic_Bread_Seasoning3   Today’s recipe is Garlic Bread Seasoning and it is life-changing! Okay, maybe I’m exaggerating a little, but it really is phenomenal. It’s become a staple in my house. I always have a container of it sitting in my fridge, ready to be sprinkled on some french bread, breadsticks, pizza and even chicken. It is so good!

Having my food blog has really opened up my eyes to making things from scratch, and I love it. These homemade recipes are so easy, and a million times better than the storebought stuff.

Ingredients
  1. 1/2 cup powdered Parmesan cheese
  2. 1 teaspoon Kosher salt
  3. 2 Tablespoons garlic powder
  4. 2 teaspoons dried oregano
  5. 2 teaspoons dried basil
  6. 2 teaspoons dried parsley
Instructions
  1. Combine all ingredients in a small jar or container that has a lid. Stir mixture to combine and then seal shut with lid.
  2. Sprinkle on top of warm breadsticks OR combine 1 1/2 Tablespoons garlic bread seasoning with 1/2 cup softened butter and spread on a loaf of French bread (cut in 1/2 lengthwise). Wrap in foil and bake at 375 until butter’s melted. (You could also place it open-faced under the broiler for a few minutes, so it gets golden-brown and crispy)
Notes
  1. Mixture stays fresh covered in fridge for up to 1 month.

  1. Just love this and all of your fantastic recipes!!!! I love how you make everything so easy and quick and with basic on hand staples. I was wondering if you have ever heard of 7 minute frosting? I heard it’s done on a double pot thing and it’s only sugar, vanilla, and maybe 2 other ingredients, but I can’t find a recipe for it and how to do it? Any help would be appreciated, and the easier the better!! Thanks, Patricia

  2. I made this for dinner last night with spaghetti, everyone loved it. I mixed it with the butter and broiled it. Really yummy! I put it in a half pint canning jar with the shaker lid from my parmesan cheese container. Perfect!

  3. Thanks so much for this one! I usually just sprinkle garlic salt over butter ☺️ if I don’t buy a loaf of ready to bake bread. But of course that is terribly lacking. This recipe caught my eye since I have a huge canister of the cheese that seems to last years. So today I finally remembered to try it out (minus the oregano just because I don’t love it. I will add a bit next time to see how I feel about it in this recipe). I broiled it and it was awesome! All of my kids liked it!
