IHOP Pancakes (copycat)
These copycat IHOP Pancakes are golden and fluffy and taste just like the ones from the popular restaurant chain.

I have to admit it. I love me some IHOP pancakes. Breakfast is one of my favorite meals to eat at restaurants, though it’s funny, because I’m normally a savory foods girl. I like to order chicken fried steak, bacon or eggs. BUT there’s always an exception when we go to IHOP. I always get their pancakes. They are amazing! Especially with their butter pecan syrup. Yum!
We absolutely loved these pancakes. In my family’s opinion, they were BETTER than IHOP’s. Maybe it’s because they were homemade, I’m not sure. They were just amazing!
Whip your family up a batch of these and you’ll have some happy campers sitting at your breakfast table. These iHOP Pancakes are a great way to start off a great day! 🙂

Absolutely delicious This is the best recipe I’ve gotten so far.
Bomb.com I have been searching for a perfect pancake recipe love this one!
This recipe is perfect and I enjoy making it. Very very close to Ihop and very delicious. Thank you for posting this. I have made this recipe and also as an alternate added 1/2 tsp of vanilla extract. Both versions come out great every time!!.
I did the same with the vanilla! And I make buttermilk with milk and lemon as opposed to real buttermilk. The kids rreally like it!!
How much milk and lemon do you use?
Put 1 tbsp of lemon juice or vinegar ( we like the taste of apple cider vinegar) in the bottom of your 1 cup liquid measure, fill will whole milk, half & half, or cream to the 1 cup mark. Let it sit for 5 minutes, then stir and use the amount that is needed.
I have made this recipe a few times now, everyone in my family loves them. I tried adding the half teaspoon vanilla, and they love them even more. Thanks for the tip!
My families loves these pancakes! We have experimented and learned to add a splash of vanilla for flavor and a splash of whole milk for thinning the batter just a bit. Perfect!
great
The best pancakes I’ve ever made! Just like IHOP! I doubled the batch and kept them in the oven at 170 until they were all done – so good! Going in my recipe box!

Tried the recipe. BeSt pancakes I’ve made at home. DissOLved in my mouth. Batter a bIt thin. Will Cut buttermilk to a cup next time and add half teaspoon vanilla. If too thick will add milk by tablespoons to get proper consistency.
Made the pancakes. Best at home pancakes I ever had. THey dissolved in my mouth. Only complaint is they were a bit too thin and crePe-liKe. Next tIMe I’ll cut thE buttermilk to onE cUp and add 1/4 teaspoon vanilla. They didn’t taste liKE IHOP pancakes but who cares? They were great.
