Menu Plan Monday is a collection of family favorite recipes from dinner to dessert.

The kids are back at school, and work is calling my name, so it’s time to get back into our normal routines. It’s nice when my home is quiet during the day, and I get some ‘me’ time to plan everything out for the week. With this week’s Menu Plan Monday, I’m going to make sure you too are prepped and ready for delicious homemade meals.

I have a great lunch idea for this week, my Club Sandwiches. Layers of ham, turkey, tomatoes, and cheese are piled together with 3 pieces of bread. They’re not only great for a kids’ sack lunch, but for mom and dad’s lunch as well. These sandwiches are beyond yummy.

My Slow Cooker Chicken Tortilla Soup is a dinner everyone will rave about. Pile all your favorite toppings on each bowl. After a long day of school and work this soup will remind your family that home is where the heart is.

In the inspiration of kids going back to school I thought it was time to break out one of my favorite desserts. Lunch Lady Peanut Butter Bars are even better than what you remember having in elementary school. These perfect bars are topped with a chocolate glaze that will transport you back to childhood bliss. Who needs the lunch lady when Mom can make these? 😉 Have a great week everybody!
