Hey there, friends! Welcome to Menu Plan Monday #245! What were you all up to over the weekend? We spent the weekend hanging with our kiddos and having some fun. We took them to Veyo Pool on Friday. Veyo is a small town about 20 minutes north of where we live and it has a pool down in lava rocks. It’s the coolest place. They also serve the most amazing food. Their corn dogs are so good! We went there all the time when I was a kid and I love now that I can take my kids too.
Kale and I also celebrated our 12th wedding anniversary a week early on Saturday. My mother in law took my kids over night, so we went and ate dinner at our favorite restaurant, then came home to watch a movie and went to bed early. It was the perfect night. 🙂 Yesterday was probably my favorite out of the entire weekend. I cooked the most amazing Sunday dinner for my family. Crock Pot Roast, garlic mashed potatoes, honey garlic carrots and Texas Roadhouse rolls. I spent all day in my kitchen preparing it while the kids played and my hubby relaxed. I love days like that. ♥
