I have a great recipe to share with you today, and also a giveaway! I was honored to be contacted by Chinet to review their new line of disposable bakeware. When they sent me a free box filled with tons of their new disposable pans, I was super excited to get baking!

I decided to make some Snickerdoodle Blondies for my first attempt at the bakeware. The pan I used was the 8×8 inch. When I pulled it out of the box, I noticed all of the pans came with lids! I thought that was such a great idea for keeping food fresh. Especially if your going to a picnic or barbecue. No need for any saran wrap or foil to cover the top!

As I waited for the blondies to bake, I wondered how the pans would hold up in the oven. Most foil pans will cave in and aren’t very sturdy, but that was not the case with these. I loved how sturdy they felt before I used them, and after baking with them! The blondies also came out of the pans with ease because they are non-stick. Awesome!

I think there are many pluses to this new bakeware line. They are microwavable and freezer safe, and are also made up of 90% recyclable materials. I really love that! No longer are the days when you take a meal to a friend, and have to worry about getting your pan back. Just bake it in one of these and your good to go!

Now, about those blondies. They were super duper divine! If you love Snickerdoodle Cookies, you will love these blondies! I added some white chocolate chips to the batter, because that’s how I roll 🙂

White Chocolate Snickerdoodle Blondies

1/2 cup butter, softened
1 cup sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 large egg
1-1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 cup flour
1/2 cup white chocolate chips
1 Tablespoon sugar & 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon, mixed together

Directions:  Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray an 8×8 baking pan with non-stick spray.

In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until fluffy and light. Beat in salt, egg and vanilla until combined. Stir in flour until combined, and then stir in white chocolate chips. Batter will be very thick like cookie dough.

Spread and press batter evenly into pan. Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture over the top.
Bake for 28-30 minutes, or until bars are set and edges are lightly browned. Let cool completely before cutting.

Makes 9 bars.

  1. Those blondies look fantastic! YUM. I haven’t seen that bakeware, but how awesome is that?! I love that they are prettier than your average disposable pan, perfect to give to a new mom! Thanks for the chance (and thanks Chinet)!!

  2. I love the bakeware!!! What a fantastic idea. I hate doing dishes…or labeling all of my pans before taking them to friends houses to make sure I get them back. I would make my moms famous “Better Than Sex Cake” in the large bakeware!!! Maybe some Peanut Butter Brownies in the smaller pans. Love!!

  3. I haven’t seen these yet! Your recipe looks delish! Thanks for the giveaway! I would make things like lasagna or Tarragon Chicken in mine to give to new moms or neighbors. I like not having to worry about getting my dishes back!

  4. First I’d try these blondies, then millionaires shortbread, that’s a difficult one to give as a gift as it sometimes sticks to the pan – who cares if you afford to give the pan too!!! Just leave the shortbread in the pan, cover in clear film and tie with a bow, simple!
Just off to rummage through my recipes to see what else I’d like to make . Will these pans be available in th UK soon??? Please!

  5. I’ll be stopping by my grocery store on the way home to see if they’ve got this bakeware yet … I SO despise those cheap aluminum disposables!! I think I’d probably make Chicken Tetrazzini in it for our monthly office potluck 🙂

  6. I would make the snickerdoodle blondies for my husband’s office staff. Heck I’ll make them whether I win or not. 🙂

  7. I would probably make some red velvet brownies with white chocolate frosting. I’ve been dreaming about them since I made them at Christmas!

  49. YUM!!! I would bake these as well as all the other delicious things on your blog. I was not into cooking at all (I recently graduated from college so never really had a place to try and opted to live off Easy Mac), but after reading your blog, I have loved being in the kitchen. My family has been so surprised that I no longer bring store bought items to gatherings but rather have brought tons of items made from your recipes!!!

Thanks for teaching me how to cook and to love it!!

  50. Oh MY, these look heavenly, why not just start with these bars! I take meals regularly to people from church who are ill or just home from the hospital. I always use disposable pans so they don’t have to bother returning dishes. And these look SO MUCH NICER than what I’m stuck with. I’d love to try them out!
Oh, and I love your blog…visit every other day!

  51. I would make some sort of dip (buffalo chicken , jalepeno popper, etc). I never like to clean up the pan after it has been sitting out at a party so these would be awesom!

  52. My girls and nephews love Snickerdoodles, so I would make these, as well as casseroles for my college age daughter to freeze

  53. I would make these awesome snickerdoodle blondies to take to our church potluck meal in the new bakeware!

  54. I would use these to make a bunch of main dishes, side dishes and desserts to freeze for later use since I am due in a few more weeks with baby #9. I will need all of the help I can get to feed my hungry hoarde at the dinner table whilst trying to juggle a newborn too:)

  55. I would make 2 main dishes in the 9 X 13 in pans, Mexican Lasagna and Easy to Stuff Manicotti. In the 8 X 8’s I would make my version of Snickerdoodle Blondies, and also Butterfinger Blondies (Hubby’s favorite). In the three small ovals: Let’s see, Mac & Cheese, Broccoli & Rice Casserole & Cheesy Taco Bake. In the 3 – 7 X 11’s: Laurie’s AuGratin Potatoes, Apple Crisp, and Arroz Con Pollo Casserole. 58. Those pans would be perfect to take an entire meal to a new mom, which I seem to be doing at least once a month recently! I’ve found a recipe for Honey Chicken that is super kid-friendly, and the adults like it too (leftovers are good sliced over a salad the next day), so that’s probably what I’d make.

    [email protected]

Oh, and I’m pinning the blondie recipe 🙂

  59. That bakeware looks very cool. I would probably bake brownies or maybe some lasagna!

    Thanks!

  60. Hi Holly! OMG! I’m embarking on a lifestyle journey to lose weight…so you know what that means?! More cooking (mainly BAKING) my food from now on! I don’t have a specific recipe, but I am working on turning traditionally fattening recipes to low calorie/low fat ones! I would love this set to help me start my new journey of eating healthy! <3

    [email protected]

  61. Love your blog and have tried several of your recipes! I think a nice fresh apple cake with caramel glaze would work wonderfully in the disposable pans.

  62. Those pans are so cute and would be perfect for our upcoming potluck – a boat ride on the Hudson. I would make brownies or Orange Supreme cake and take and I wouldn’t have to worry about the pan and it wouldn’t be a silly metal pan.

    [email protected]

  63. Aside from the many recipes of yours I’m still wanting to try I’d make a “Coconut” Cream Pie (made with Spaghetti Squash instead of Coconut) and Zucchini Cassarole (an amazing dish I serve instead of stuffing/dressing as it tastes just like it but is so much better for you).

  64. PS these blondies look amazing and easy. I’m a huge fan of blondies as I’m really picky about brownies. Blondies never disappoint. Thanks for this one and many more.

  65. Ohhh, those look delicious! As for the bakeware, I can think of a ton of recipes to use them for, including your Cheesy Potato Casserole and my much loved black bean brownies. Please pick my name! And thanks for taking the time to blog such great stuff.

  66. I would make a chicken pot pie for a friend who just had surgery and will be out of commission for several weeks and his wife doesn’t cook.

  67. I would definitely make your Cinnamon Roll Cake! Mmm… that is actually the recipe that led me to your site, but I haven’t had a chance to make it yet!

  68. I would love to win these. They look great for taking food to friends. 🙂

  69. As a lead teacher at a middle school, I love to bake for my co-workers. This is an especially good time of year to take them extra treats because the end of the year can be stressful. Having disposable containers to use would mean that I wouldn’t lose my dishes and I can keep on baking! I plan to start with the banana cake, snickerdoodle blondies, cinnamon roll cake, chocolate chip cookie dough brownies and the bean dip. Thank you so much for sharing your recipes, experiences and pictures!
My e-mail address is [email protected]

  70. I would love to try a new recipe I found for Monkey bread sticky rolls in one of these. I plan on taking it to my sunday school class next weekend.
