Flaky crescent dough wrapped around green apple slices that is baked in the most delicious cinnamon-sugar mixture. Life-in-the-Lofthouse.comHappy Friday! Woot Woot 🙂 This has been a long week for me, so I’m a very happy girl the weekend is here. Before I sign off for the day I wanted to share these Apple Crescent Dumplings I made for Pillsbury!

Flaky crescent dough wrapped around green apple slices then baked in the most delicious cinnamon-sugar mixture. They are out of this world delicious! I know sharing an apple dumpling dessert is probably not in food ‘season’ right now, but these are too good not to share.

It is a must, in my book anyway, to serve these with a giant scoop of vanilla ice cream. And if you’re feeling even more adventurous, drizzle a little caramel on top too. Oh, goodness. It’s heaven on a plate. 😀

    1. It does, it states it in step 5. You pour the soda around the dumplings, not on top of them, after you pour on the cinnamon-sugar mixture.

    2. Pour 3/4 cup (6 oz) lemon-lime carbonated beverage in center and along edges of pan. (Do not pour on top of dumplings.)

    3. Put the dumplings in the baking dish then the butter mixture is put on the dumplings, it says to pour the soda down the middle and the sides but not on the dumplings
