Creamy Ranch Chicken in a crockpot

  1. Man i found this on another site, there were not directions, so i just added the chicken, then potatoes , then canned soup and ranch .. hope it isnt mess up. May try to stir it later once the chicken has thawed some .

  2. Could this be put together frozen and then thawed and cooked later? Looking for some slow cooker freezer meals I can just pull out to thaw the day before then throw in the crockpot

    1. You can stir it, but you dont have to. Keeping the lid on will keep the heat in and ensure proper cooking. I try not to stir things I’m cooking in the crock pot because of that 🙂

    1. No. My mom taught me that every time you take the lid off a slow cooker to ‘check’ it, you have to add an hour to the cooking time. I would either spray the inside of the crock with Pam or use oil. They also sell crock pot liners by the aluminium foil for easy clean up. The potatoes don’t really fry as much as steam cook from the moisture. Hope this helps.

  3. Made this tonight for supper and it turned out fantastic! I made homemade biscuits to go with it and called it “Deconstructed Chicken Pot Pie”. So yummy!!

  4. Can I do this recipie as a freezer meal if I let it fully defrost before putting it in the crock pot? Thank you 🙂

  5. This is so delicious! I’ve made it the last two Sundays. I put in six chicken breasts and take it to work to feed the Soldiers I work with and they love it! Thank you for this easy crockpot recipe that allows me to feed an “Army!”
