Crock Pot Creamy Ranch Chicken
Creamy Ranch Chicken is a crockpot favorite of ours. Savory and creamy ranch chicken and veggies are cooked together for one delicious meal!

I love my crock pot. I use it ALL the time and definitely year round. Slow cookers are little life savers, especially on busy days! It’s such a good feeling to get dinner prepped and out of the way first thing in the morning. The extra bonus is smelling it cook all day!

This Creamy Ranch Chicken is a big favorite of ours. It’s dinner all in one! You have your meat, potatoes and veggie all cooked and ready to eat once the time is up. I love that!

Not only is this recipe super convenient it is delicious. The ranch flavor is just perfect. Not too overpowering at all. My kids devour this and so does my hubby. It’s on the dinner rotation often at my house. 🙂

Do you crockpot cook in low or high for 5 hours>?
Will cream of mushroom soup and chicken stock work ?
Have you doubled this recipe in the crock pot before to service 6-8 people?
I have not doubled it, but if you have a really large crock pot I’m sure it would work fine.
Could this be put together frozen and then thawed and cooked later? Looking for some slow cooker freezer meals I can just pull out to thaw the day before then throw in the crockpot
HI! You may have already answered this but you think I could sub cashew milk for dairy milk??
Do you use frozen or thawed chicken??
I only use thawed chicken
Do you need to stir it so the potatoes don’t burn? I’m new to crock pots so not sure how this works?
You can stir it, but you dont have to. Keeping the lid on will keep the heat in and ensure proper cooking. I try not to stir things I’m cooking in the crock pot because of that 🙂
Do you need to stir it so the potatoes don’t burn? New to crock pots so not sure how this all works! Thanks
No. My mom taught me that every time you take the lid off a slow cooker to ‘check’ it, you have to add an hour to the cooking time. I would either spray the inside of the crock with Pam or use oil. They also sell crock pot liners by the aluminium foil for easy clean up. The potatoes don’t really fry as much as steam cook from the moisture. Hope this helps.
This was delicious!! Excellent recipe that’s going into my regular rotation 🙂 Thank you so much!!
Made this tonight for supper and it turned out fantastic! I made homemade biscuits to go with it and called it “Deconstructed Chicken Pot Pie”. So yummy!!
Can I do this recipie as a freezer meal if I let it fully defrost before putting it in the crock pot? Thank you 🙂
This is so delicious! I’ve made it the last two Sundays. I put in six chicken breasts and take it to work to feed the Soldiers I work with and they love it! Thank you for this easy crockpot recipe that allows me to feed an “Army!”
Do you think It’d be good to put Broccoli in it as well?
Should I stir it while it’s cooking?
It’s important to keep the lid on a crock pot to keep the heat inside. So no, I wouldnt stir it until the time is up 🙂
Could you use chicken breast with the bone?
Do you need to stir at anytime or just let it cook?
Can the chicken breasts be frozen, of do they need to be thawed?
I only use thawed in the crock pot. Personal preference
Making this tonight! I’m going to try throwing some fresh spinach in towards the end. Looks yummy!
Can Red Potatoes be used instead of Russet?
