Easy Strawberry Cheesecake Ice Cream is creamy, delicious and so easy to make. You don’t need an ice cream machine to make this incredible treat!

I believe homemade ice cream is one of the most rewarding and fascinating things to make. Food is always a labor of love for me, and I might just love ice cream the most. My Easy Strawberry Cheesecake Ice Cream is bound to be one of the most irresistible ice creams you’ll ever eat, and one of the easiest recipes to make.
This refreshing treat is filled with chunks of golden Oreo cookies, and strawberries. It is truly the ultimate summer dessert! You’ll find me enjoying two scoops in a waffle cone for sure.

DO I NEED AN ICE CREAM MACHINE TO MAKE THIS RECIPE?
You do not need an ice cream machine to make wonderful ice cream. I don’t own an ice cream machine, and this recipe alone is why I believe I’ll never need one. With a few of the right ingredients, you can create homemade ice cream with just a bowl, a spatula and a loaf pan. Yep, that is it!
INGREDIENTS FOR EASY STRAWBERRY CHEESECAKE ICE CREAM
- 1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
- 1 container (8 ounces) Cool Whip, thawed
- 1 block (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup butter, softened
- 1 Tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 15 Golden Oreo cookies
- 1/4 cup butter, softened
- 1 can (21 ounces) Strawberry Pie filling
HOW LONG DO I NEED TO FREEZE THE ICE CREAM?
It’s crucial that you let your lovingly homemade dessert sit in the freezer for a minimum of 6 hours. It is going to be tempting to want to try some beforehand but believe me when I say that it will be worth the wait. I recommend letting the ice cream freeze overnight, but if you can’t wait that long it’s okay. In only 6 hours you will be able to indulge in this heavenly treat.

TIPS FOR MAKING NO CHURN ICE CREAM
- Don’t over mix the add-ins to the ice cream. Fold them in only 2 to 3 times tops, to keep the beautiful swirls.
- Be sure to buy the ingredients as stated in the recipe. Don’t use low fat or low sugar ingredients as the ice cream won’t turn out correctly.
- Be sure to cover and seal the container well to prevent freezer burn.
HOW LONG CAN I KEEP THE ICE CREAM FROZEN?
Another great thing about this recipe is that it’s made to live in the freezer. It will stay good frozen for up to 3 months if covered properly. If you have a large enough freezer you may want to make extra to stock up! After you’ve made your first batch, you’ll see how truly easy it is to make. I have a couple of pints in my freezer for emergency cravings.

Strawberry Cheesecake Ice Cream
Ingredients
- 1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
- 1 container (8 ounces) Cool Whip, thawed
- 1 block (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup butter, softened and divided
- 1 Tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 15 Golden Oreo cookies
- 1 can (21 ounces) Strawberry Pie filling ( I used Duncan Hines)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, add the sweetened condensed milk, cool whip, cream cheese, 1/4 cup butter, lemon juice and vanilla extract. With a hand mixer, beat on medium speed until smooth. Set aside.
- In a food processor (or you can use a large ziplock bag and rolling pin) add the Golden Oreos and remaining 1/4 cup butter. Combine and crush together until crumbly.
- Dump the oreo crumbs into the center of the batter, then pour the can of Strawberry pie filling over the oreo crumbs. Using a large rubber spatula, gently fold the filling and crumbs into the ice cream batter. *Only fold 2 or 3 times. You want swirls in the ice cream, so don’t over mix. Pour mixture into a standard loaf pan and cover tightly with saran wrap.
- Freeze atleast 6 hours or overnight. Then serve and enjoy! ♥

This looks so yummy! I’ve been thinking about a fun recipe to make this weekend while my hubby is out of town. My 4 & 2 yr olds will LOVE this! Thank you!
Wow, this looks like such a wonderfully decadent and delicious treat. Craving some already! 🙂
This just makes me want warm weather to be here even faster! Gorgeous pics, Holly!
Holly! You are such a tease. =) This looks fabulously wonderful and amazing too. I don’t have an ice cream machine either and can make my own sweetened condensed milk. Yippee! Pinned! So glad you shared.
I absolutely LOVE that this doesn’t require an ice cream maker. I hate finding a recipe I want to make and realizing I need a stupid ice cream machine. (And, no, I will not own one. Are you crazy? I’d make ice cream every day!) Love this. Pinning it for later use.
would i be able to substitute whipped cream for the cool whip? not a fan of the HFCS.
either way, this is amazing, thanks for the recipe!
@ fallenangel- Yes, I think you could substitute. I would just make sure the whipped cream is dense and thick. Hope you enjoy ♥
Just made this and stored it in the fridge.
It tastes absolutely amazing!
I’ve wanted to try this for a long time, so I thought today was a good day to make it. It’s in the freezer now! I substituted Raspberry pie filling instead of strawberry only because hubby doesn’t care for strawberry too much.
NO MACHINE NEEDED!!!
Oh. This recipe is definitely going to be made today. I can’t wait to taste it. I think I will substitute cherries.
Just made this and put it in the freezer, can’t wait to taste it : )
My hubby would love this. But I’m in Australia and we don’t have Cool Whip here. I can get Dream Whip from the import store or make real whipped cream. Which do you think would work better? Thanks.
I’m not sure what Dream Whip is, so I’d try whipped cream! Let me know how it turns out 🙂
Could I substitute with fresh strawberries?
Yes and it’s much healthier that way. same for using real whipped cream.
Is the butter really necessary for the making of the treat???
Would you have a receipe for pineapple ice cream made without an ice cream machine. We had the most wonderful pineapple ice cream in Hawaii and have not been able to find it here in Canada. Thank you
Hi Edie. No I don’t have a recipe for pineapple ice cream, but it sounds delicious! I’ll have to find one and post it!
Does it unmold easiliy so you can plate it on a platter?
Hi, I was wondering how far ahead can you make this? My can of strawberry pie filling is 540 ml and the condensed milk is 300ml so not as much as your sizes. Should I use more
I completely forgot about this recipe! I made it and loved it quite awhile ago…maybe when you first posted? Super easy, so good, and if I remember right, I don’t think I even shared! I’ll have to tell people ahead of time that it’s gonna be in the freezer. 😉
I made this dessert for a family get together. I coarsely chopped the Oreos instead of fine crumbs and made my own homemade strawberry pie filling with frozen strawberries from my garden. I also decorated the top with piped Cool Whip and Oreos to make it look more like an ice cream cake style dessert. Soooo good! Will make again- thanks for the delicious recipe!
Do you think this would work with whipped cream cheese? Or does it need to be block style?
Lovely recipe of Strawberry Cheesecake Ice Cream. Thanks for sharing this kind of blog.
Easy! Whipped up the cream in my kitchenAiD mixer took only 2minutes, added the rest And put it in the freezer! 10 minutes Tops!
I just made this INCREDIBLE no churn delight….and will be serving it tonight to help celebrate my husbands’ Birthday!!! It smelled divine as I rolled it into my freezer~~~~
