Frosted Lemonade is a sweet and creamy drink made with freshly squeezed lemonade and vanilla ice cream. This refreshing frozen treat is the perfect drink to get you through the summer.
If you’re a regular at Chick-Fil-A then you have to know about their signature frosted lemonade. It’s a tasty combo of their lemonade and Icedream® dessert has the perfect ratio of sweetness and tang.
After first discovering this drink, I knew that I wanted to come up with my own version that was as close to the original as possible. I’m pretty sure I’ve managed to do just that with this easy recipe, but don’t take my word for it. Give it a try for yourself!
This FROSTED LEMONADE is so delicious. It’s made with freshly squeezed lemon juice, sugar and vanilla ice cream. Simple yet so good. I made these for my kiddos last Friday and they downed them in about 5 minutes. They really loved them!
The nice thing about this frozen treat is that you can adjust it to fit your preference. If you prefer your lemonade more tangy, then just be sure to not add in as much sugar. Or if you’re on the opposite end and like your lemonade on the sweeter side, simply just add more sugar or ice cream to disguise the tanginess.
While I prefer the taste of using freshly squeezed lemon juice, you can always use frozen lemonade concentrate or bottled lemonade to make it even easier than it already is. You can also use a diet lemonade if you’re trying to save some calories. It’s really all up to you!
No matter which way you make it, I can assure you that you’ll fall in love with this frosty and delicious frozen drink. 🙂
