Mini Hawaiian Pizzas

On my journey of healthy eating, I am having some big cravings for those naughty foods I just can’t resist. I am a self proclaimed Pizza-Loving-Addict! lol Oh, how I love me a big ol’ piece of ooey gooey cheesy pizza! Mmmmm So it’s had me thinking. How can I get a taste for some, without ruining my clean eating plan. Then I remembered this classic and easy way of making pizza. English Muffin style! : )
I grabbed a bag of Whole Wheat ones at the store, and then thought Hawaiian Style toppings would be perfect to go on top! I also had remembered that I have an old ‘Pizza Hut’ copycat pizza sauce recipe that is SO GOOD. Please, please, please DON’T buy those nasty little cans of pizza sauce at the store! *GAG* Especially when you can make your own homemade version in just a couple minutes. To me, it tastes very similar to Pizza Huts. The flavor is delish! All you need is a can of tomato sauce, and a few seasonings, and voila, you will have delicious homemade pizza sauce!

Ingredients
- 8 whole wheat english muffins
- pizza sauce (see recipe below)
- 2 cups mozzarella cheese shredded
- 2 cups pineapple tidbits
- 2 cups Canadian bacon or ham chopped
Copycat Pizza Hut Pizza Sauce
- 1 can (15 ounces) tomato sauce
- 2 teaspoons dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried marjoram
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1 teaspoon garlic salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Split english muffins in half. Place halves on top of a cookie sheet. Spread 3 Tablespoons of pizza sauce evenly on top. Add chopped Canadian bacon and pineapple on top. Sprinkle each piece with shredded Mozzarella cheese.
- Bake for 12 minutes or until cheese has melted. Enjoy!
Copycat Pizza Hut Pizza Sauce
- Mix all together in a bowl. Refrigerate covered until ready to use.

That pizza sauce does sound good!! These are so cute and I love anything in a mini-form. Don’t know why – it’s just more fun to eat I think..LOL.

This looks delicious – can’t wait to try your sauce!!! Now I just need to find a gluten free english muffin recipe 🙂
I’m not a fan of most jarred pizza sauces so I’ll have to give this one a try. It looks great!
I love making mini pizzas on English Muffins! So quick and easy.
We seriously eat pizza once a week. I’m not sure why the husband and I both don’t weigh 500 lbs a piece. I guess because we usually make pizza from scratch and skip all of those preservatives from the store-bought kind. (I’m with you on the *gag*!) But we never have had a Hawaiian pizza. Your recipe looks like one we’ll have to try – nice and healthy and simple!
We had these for supper last night and everyone liked them thanks for the idea holly!!!!
Yum! We love english muffin pizzas here. I always love trying a new pizza sauce so I may give that pizza hut knock off a try.
Yum! I love English muffin pizzas! When I’m trying to cut calories I use the light Flat Out wraps to make individual pizzas. I’ll just throw toppings on and bake for about 10 minutes. Super tasty!

This is a great idea and will be much appreciated by lovers of Hawaiian pizza.
These sound quick and delicious. I hope you have a great day. Blessings…Mary
This sounds and looks fantastic!
Hawaiian pizza is my favorite…I’m sure I’d love these.
These were great! 3 tablespoons a piece though made for too much sauce. I like my pizza drenched in sauce but it was too soggy for my husband so next time I’ll cut back to maybe a little over a tablespoon. Thanks!
