Alfredo Sauce. It’s a delicious staple in my house. We are pasta lovers through and through. My kids love pasta (especially, Red & White Pasta) and the hubs and I do, too. 🙂 This Alfredo sauce I’m sharing today is one of the easiest and BEST versions of homemade Alfredo I’ve ever made. It beats the stuff in the bottle by far!
This Alfredo sauce is creamy, dreamy Alfredo heaven, with just a hint of garlic. I make it ALL the time, because it’s so easy and so delicious!
- 4 Tablespoons butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 ounces (1/2 package) cream cheese
- 1 cup milk ( I use 2%)
- ⅓ cup Parmesan cheese, freshly grated
- salt and pepper, to taste
- Melt butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Add the garlic and cook until fragrant; about 1 minute. Place the cream cheese in the saucepan and whisk until smooth. Add the milk, and whisk until smooth and combined. Stir in the Parmesan cheese, salt and pepper. Continue to stir until sauce thickens. Remove from heat and serve immediately.
