Whenever I ask Kale what kind of treat he wants, he always requests his favorite Chocolate Chip Pudding Cookies. Always. Last time I wanted to make a dessert I decided to make this amazing pie instead. I was pleasantly surprised at how simple it was to make.
This is so much easier to make than cookies. There’s no need to scoop out a million cookies. Just dump the batter in a pre-made frozen pie shell and you are good to go! 🙂

This Chocolate Chip Cookie Pie made my house smell like heaven as it baked, and when I took a bite, I died. Just kidding, I didn’t die, but it was amazing!
I enjoyed my slice with whipped cream and chocolate sauce. Kale and the kids ate theirs with vanilla ice cream. We all loved it!

Ingredients
- 1 unbaked 9-inch pie crust ( I use a Marie Callender frozen deep-dish crust)
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 3/4 cup real butter softened
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (I personally love to use milk chocolate baking chips)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.
- Beat eggs in a large bowl on high speed until foamy ( about 1 minute).
- On low speed, beat in flour and both sugars. Then add in butter, and mix until just combined. Stir in chocolate chips.
- Carefully spoon batter into unbaked pie crust. Spread batter out evenly.
- Bake for 55 minutes. (check for doneness by inserting a knife halfway between center and edge and it comes out clean)
- Let cool at least 30 minutes to an hour before slicing! Serve with whipped cream, ice cream or both and enjoy!

Even though I don’t have 3 kids, I still get super ecited everytime I get to go to the grocery store by myself. I love getting to look at everything without feeling rushed. The next time my bf asks for chocolate chip cookies (which is all the time), I’m making this!
Holy YUM! That looks simply fabulous 🙂 🙂 🙂
I have made that pie and it is so so good. To die for!
Yes please…..I wish we were neighbors.
Cookie in a pie – nuff said. Come to Momma!
Oh my goodness! I’m making this! I totally understand about the shopping thing. Lucky you : )
Why on earth didn’t WE think of that?! You know I tried that once with Brownie Batter, and the darn thing didn’t turn out. It was gooey in the center and the crust burnt. My daughter would FLIP over this! Fantastic Picture by the by!
Sounds awesome! I will be trying this and hopefully it looks like your pic!
That…is…fabulous!
You just gave me an idea to make for family home evening =) thank u!
OMG, that pie is insanely decadent! Just for me.
Cheers,

Oh Man!! I am definetly trying this out!!! YUM!!
I’m with Kale on the chocolate chip cookies…they are are one of my favorite treats! But as a pie.. that’s just genious and by the look of that pic tastes AMAZING!
I love this pie!! It’s an all-time favorite at our house. I’ve ended up with dreaded muffin top eating ALL the left overs 🙂
uh yum! Another one I need to try soon.
Wow! That looks amazing – and much easier than making cookie after cookie.
So purty! Your presentation is beautiful!
I’ve been making this for years… the original recipe that I have uses 1 cup of melted butter. I usually only make it for the holidays, but it has always been a hit! Trust me… if you like warm chocolate chip cookies, you will love this. Make sure to warm your slice in the microwave for a few seconds before serving. That’s the way we do it around here!
Oh dear Holly, we absolutely love this one as well! Have two in the oven now. Holybegesus, we love love love this pie!!
It’s in the oven right now! Eat your hearts out….can’t you just smell all that yumminess!?
I think I would do this without the pie crust and just pour it into a 9 by 13 inch baking dish and make it cookie bars.
Very delicious!
Holly, I made this the other night for dessert with your 3 packet roast recipe, and my husband was not sure at first because he had never heard of it. After trying it, all he said was, “Okay, this is good!” And would not share it with anyone else. Lol. Thanks!
That is so great to hear! SO happy they were both such a success 🙂
This is truly an experience to share with family and friends.
So easy and so chocolately good
I HAVE MADE THIS PIE MANY TIMES AND IT IS SO EASY AND DELICIOUS! IT ALSO FREEZES WELL!
