Happy Monday, guys! How was everyone’s weekend? Saturday morning I woke up to a text from my sister, Lindsey, asking if I wanted to go to Vegas for the day. Without a second thought, I responded “Heck Yes!” and within an hour and a half we were on the road.
Luckily, we only live about a 100 miles from Las Vegas, so it’s easy to make a last minute trip down there. We ate at the Cheesecake Factory, and then headed to Trader Joe’s for some shopping. It was my first time there, and I loved it! I picked up some good stuff! Salsa, marinara sauce, sea salt caramel chocolates (gah! so good!) and a few other things. 🙂
On Sunday, I went and saw the movie, Divergent, with my book club girlies. It was a looooong movie, and pretty intense. I did not read the book, so I didn’t know what to expect. I thought it was okay. I have a hard time with these kinds of stories. They’re just really sad and depressing. But anywho… I’ll shut up now and get to the food. Here’s what I’m making this week….
