I’m having a hard time believing that school starts for my kids in a little over a week. This summer went by so fast it made my head spin. We did have a ton of fun, but now that the summers end is near I think they’re getting bored. And I’m not saying it’s a bad thing. Sometimes I think social media makes parents feel like we have to entertain our kids ALL the time. When the truth is (in my eyes anyway) that a little boredom and making kids create their own fun at home is good for them- plus it gives us parents a well-deserved break. 😀
I know I’ve talked about my blog plans for when my kids are back in school and I meant every word. I’m kicking this blog into full gear! Since Kallen will be in first grade I’ll have more hours in the day to test recipes, photograph and keep working on recipe videos. I’m aiming to post at least two new additional recipes during the week, along with the two I already post. I’m ready to work hard and I’m excited about it. 🙂
Okay, now on with the food. My favorite part! Here’s our menu for the week…
