Menu Plan Monday is a collection of delicious family-friendly recipes. I’ve done all the meal planning- you just need to get to the store!
Hi friends! Welcome to Menu Plan Monday #251. As I write this blog post, I am helping my girls get ready for their first day of school! Kelsey starts 10th grade today. I can’t even believe I have a child in high school now. Not only is she starting high school, but she will also be doing a program called Success Academy. It’s where she will be taking college classes, at the actual college during the last half of her school day. She’ll be graduating with a high school diploma and an associates degree. I am SO proud of her!
Emma starts 6th grade today. It’s so crazy. She is super nervous about having six different classes to go to. But she’s also excited to see her friends again and walk to school with her good friend Sami. Kallen starts 3rd grade and he’s pretty nervous too. He knows he is going to learn times tables so that’s made him anxious. I keep telling him he is so smart I know he’ll catch on really fast. It honestly makes my Momma heart sad. My kids are growing up way too fast.
Okay, on with the menu! I am making a few comfort dishes I know my kids love to kick off back to school week. I am really thinking today I need to have some chocolate chip cookies ready to go by the time they’re out of school. I know they are going to be tired after that first nerve-wracking day. Oh, the joys of being a kid. 😉
