Happy Friday, friends! I want to thank you ALL for the overwhelming response I received on my Grilled Huli Huli Chicken post. So many of you commented, emailed me and even commented on Instagram about it and your response was really sweet. I was hoping I didn’t come off rude because that’s the last thing I wanted. The whole point was to spread love and to put a stop to online bullying. At the end of the day that’s really what it is and I’m tired of it. Okay, let’s move on to the good stuff. 😉
Easter Sunday is next week so I put together a list of over 20 totally delicious Easter recipes. These round-ups always do so well, so I thought, ‘Hey, why not do an Easter one?’ 🙂 I love the Easter holiday, especially the meaning behind it of course, but also because of the tradition we’ve been doing with our kids since Emma was a baby. It all starts on the day before Easter where we take our kids to the St. George Arts Festival. It is so much fun. There are aisles and aisles of beautiful art from artists all over the world and tons of food trucks. The weather is always perfect (*knock on wood. ha!) and I usually end up running into old high school friends there, too. I love it.
After the Arts festival we head over to Hurricane to see the car show. That’s Kales favorite part. There are tons of vintage cars and trucks there, and more food trucks. Yum! It’s always a good time. On Easter Sunday I usually go all out and make a huge Easter dinner for my family. I make the same dinner every year and it never gets old- Crock Pot Brown Sugar Maple Ham, Potatoes au Gratin, Garlic Roasted Carrots, Strawberry side salads and my favorite carrot cake. All which are on this list today. I also added a few extra faves and some fun Easter treats the kids would love!
